May God bless you and keep you.

- quoted from: Numbers 6:24-26 & 2 Corinthians 9:8

10 For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains. 1 Timothy 6:10 (NABRE)

So as believers in God, through Jesus Christ, we must live wisely and do our best to avoid what is not pleasing to Him. Just as it is written in Psalm 62:10 saying,

[10] Don't make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don't make it the center of your life.

As we may see in those verses, the Bible never tells us that money is a bad thing; we need money to survive in this world. The problem is how we pursue it and what we do with it when we have it.

So making money the center of our lives just leads us to problem after problem that, at times, it may cause severe pain in us or in our loved ones.

We should at all times put our full trust in God even when the odds tell us otherwise.
He is our Creator, our Supplier, our Protector, our Healer and our Redeemer. If He provided for us yesterday and today, He will also provide for us tomorrow if his desire is to allow us to see tomorrow.

Because our Creator, who is the source of all things, is the same yesterday, today and forever.

In Hebrews 11:8-11, 17-19 (NABRE) the Scripture also tells us that it was “by faith that Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was to go.

It was by faith that he sojourned in the Promised Land as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise; for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God.

By faith he received power to generate, even though he was past the normal age and Sarah herself being sterile-for he thought that the one who had made the promise was trustworthy.

By faith Abraham, when put to the test, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was ready to offer his only son, of whom it was said, “Through Isaac descendants shall bear your name.” He reasoned that God was able to raise even from the dead, and he received Isaac back as a symbol”.

Prayer:
God Almighty, my Creator, my Supplier, my Protector, my Healer, my Redeemer and my All! Thank You for blessing me and expanding my territory! Today I chose to put my full trust in you even when the odds tell me otherwise.

Now this I declare, if You provided for me yesterday and today, You will also provide for me tomorrow because you are a faithful God.

Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!" and if my wealth increases, don’t allow me to make it the center of my life; In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
