Father God, in Proverbs 2:2-12 you said:
[2] Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.
[3] Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.
[4] Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.
[5] Then you will understand what it means to fear the LORD, and you will gain knowledge of God.
[6] For I, the LORD, grant wisdom! From my mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
[7] I grant a treasure of common sense to the honest. I am a shield to those who walk with integrity.
[8] I guard the paths of the just and protect those who are faithful to Me.
[9] Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go.
[10] For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy.
[11] Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.
[12] Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted".
Prayer:
Father God, in the book of Wisdom 1:4, it is written,
For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins.
Lord, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing I can do to be completely holy before you.
But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
Oh God, your love for mankind is so great that You gave your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Now, I beg you Oh Father, to cleanse me and purify my soul, so that your promise may be fulfilled in my life.
and because you are faithful and true to your word, today I want to THANK YOU LORD, for your wisdom that is peace-loving, gentle, merciful, and willing to yield to others.
Thank you for the provision of your wisdom day by day as I abide in you.
Show me what to do in any situation that I may be facing today. I need your heavenly view of things.
Thank you for making your divine wisdom available to me through your indwelling Holy Spirit!
May my love increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that I may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
